Thanksgiving Boxes

Every year Macon North Rotary provides a complete Thanksgiving meal food box to 20-25 families connected to our adopted school, St. Peter Claver School. With the help of the church and school, these families are designated as those that could use a little help at this time of the year. The food boxes include a turkey, stuffing, gravy, green beans, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, apples, a pie, rolls, butter, tea bags, sugar, a roasting pan, and aluminum foil. Members purchase the items and boxes and meet to create an assembly line to fill the boxes to later distribute. Providing the blessing of a Thanksgiving Box to families each year is just one of the ways we celebrate Service Above Self.
